CGGC Signs the Contract for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Service for Kality Wastwater Treatment Plant in Ethiopia

On August 16, CGGC and Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority signed the contract for the operation and maintenance of Kality Wastewater Treatment Plant in Addis Abba, the Capital of Ethiopia. The Project is CGGC’s first single water operation project in the African market and represents another important achievement of CGGC in developing management consulting businesses and pushing forward its “1+4” strategy.

Located in Addis Ababa, the Capital of Ethiopia, the Project is currently the largest wastewater treatment project in Ethiopia with the design capacity of 100,000m3/d and adopts the combination of Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket(UASB) Reaction and biotrickling filters. With investment from the World Bank, the Project involves the operation and maintenance, technical support, training of local operation teams, etc.
